Dyson introduces its latest breakthrough in hair care with the Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer. Designed to revolutionise the styling experience, this cutting-edge hair dryer incorporates advanced Nural™ sensors and intelligent features to protect the scalp, enhance hair health, and simplify styling routines.
Protective Scalp Mode with Nural™ Sensors
The Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer features Scalp Protect Mode, activated by the revolutionary Nural™ sensors, which automatically adjusts heat to ensure scalp comfort and drying efficiency.
Using a time of flight sensor, the dryer measures the distance between the machine and the hair, reducing heat to the optimum temperature of 55°C as it nears the scalp. This prevents heat damage while maintaining scalp moisture levels.
Enhanced Styling Experience
In addition to Scalp Protect Mode, the Nural™ sensors enable Attachment Learning and Pause Detect features, enhancing the overall styling experience:
- Attachment Learning: The dryer adapts to the user's styling preferences by remembering their last-used heat and airflow settings for each attachment, simplifying styling routines.
- Pause Detect: Equipped with a motion-sensing accelerometer, the dryer automatically deactivates the heater when the user is in between styling passes, reducing airflow and noise.

- **Flyaway Smoother: Utilizes the Coanda effect to smooth and hide flyaways.
