Exciting news in the world of photography! Canon Malaysia recently introduced its 2024 lineup of EOS Masters at a signing ceremony that reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration and enlightenment within the digital imaging community.
So what is the EOS Master initiative? It was initiated last year and aims to create an interactive platform for aspiring creative individuals, spanning beginners, students, and professionals, to engage with seasoned experts in Malaysia.
And so, this year's EOS Master lineup comprises 17 distinguished photographers and videographers, each with illustrious careers that have left a significant mark on the creative industry.
Selected for their diverse experiences, influence within the local community, and a shared passion for creativity, these Masters possess expertise that spans underwater, travel, landscape, photojournalism, sports, and nature photography.
These Masters serve as mentors to aspiring creatives and camera enthusiasts and will impart insights into the art of storytelling, equipping budding content creators across Malaysia with the tools to bring their unique visions to life.
Under the EOS Master initiative, these 17 camera advocates will organise various activities, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions throughout the year.
Through these events, they will share techniques, challenges, and personal anecdotes, providing individuals with opportunities to upskill or reskill. Participants will not only refine their skills but also reignite their passion for their craft!
Beyond their role as creative visionaries, the EOS Masters will also be ambassadors for the Canon brand.
They will demonstrate the transformative capabilities of EOS products, pushing boundaries and showcasing the possibilities where art and technology intersect. This initiative underscores Canon's extensive range of EOS R System camera and lens products, highlighting the diversity of offerings that cater to EOS Masters across various sectors.
It also fosters community among camera advocates, driving innovation and growth within the Malaysian photography and videography landscape.
"Their talent and passion for cinematography and image-making align with our commitment to innovation. We are genuinely grateful to have these industry experts join our journey to elevate our brand and inspire a new wave of passion for photographers and videographers in Malaysia," said Masato Yoshiie, President & CEO of Canon Marketing Malaysia.
