Last week, a notable Samsung tipster hinted that Samsung will be forgoing the Galaxy S23 FE this year and opting to release a groundbreaking dual-hinge tri-fold smartphone alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5.
Back in 2020, Samsung had teased a tri-fold smartphone through their website, but nothing fruitful ever came from that. Then, they exhibited an OLED screen with two hinges that can be folded like a leaflet, an improved version of which many sources claim will come in the new tri-fold smartphone.

If true, then Samsung will be the first-ever smartphone manufacturer to release a tri-fold smartphone. It should also allegedly come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor like the current Galaxy S23 Series and a new drop-shaped hinge, also alleged for the next Galaxy Z devices.
