As Ramadhan approaches, it is just natural that the idea of raya eventually follows. The excitement of welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan and celebrating Syawal next has reached us and the panic of finding your raya outfit is kicking in.
Greeting their customers, ZALORA had its ZALORAYA Pop-Up Store open for the public from 8th March until 12th March at The Starhill, Bukit Bintang. Customers were welcome to browse through their collection of baju raya during this festive season and see the modest and fashionable designs tailored by multiple brands from notable designers and ZALORA’s private label brands.
Kicking off with a magnificent fashion show on 7th March, The House of ZALORAYA presented nine great designers namely Maslea, Yadotsa, Syomirizwa Gupta, Lubna, TAS by Tom Abang Saufi, Zalia, Alia B., Afiq M, and NH by Nurita Harith.
Alongside the local brands, footwear and accessories vendors like Adidas, Aldo and Call It Spring were also present for customers to pair local goods with international ones, creating a new highlight. Regional Commercial Director of ZALORA, Eric Cheang named the House of ZALORAYA as the place where new beginnings bloom.
In conjunction with ZALORAYA’s first pop-up store, fun activities are conducted to entertain the customers. On 9th March, a lucky contest to win a pair of Adidas shoes and souvenirs to take home was conducted.
On the final day of the pop-up store, LUNADIRA, a Malaysian singer-songwriter performed and had a meet-and-greet session with her fans.
The fashion show presented on 7th March was just a sneak peek of what the House of ZALORAYA has in store for its customers.
