After years of struggle and with competitors such as Google undermining them, Bing has officially reached 100 million daily users.
According to a blog post by Yusuf Mehdi, the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft, he shared the news alongside some additional information, including the fun fact that one-third of current Bing users are new to the search engine.
Last month, Microsoft reiterated the existence of Bing and announced a new, upgraded version of the search engine powered by artificial intelligence by the name of OpenAI, which was known for its AI chatbox ChatGPT. This was an ambitious move, but it seems like it's paying off majorly— a million users had signed up for the waitlist to try out the AI-powered Bing.
Despite the controversy around AI-powered chatbots, Microsoft is assuring users they are still working on updates to improve the Chatbot that will no doubt deliver a better experience for users.
