Galaxy Unpacked 2023 date

Samsung May Launch the Galaxy S23 on 1 February 2023

Many sources say that the date is pretty much set in stone.

After months of rumours and speculations, it seems like Samsung is almost ready to launch its next flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 — we say almost, because it looks like they might have revealed the date of the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Event accidentally on the Columbian website.

Just like last year, the Galaxy Unpacked event will be one of Samsung's biggest events of the year, where the brand will announce the release of the next flagship S Series. This year, that will be the much-speculated-upon Galaxy S23, the successor of the successful Galaxy S22 Series.

The new Galaxy S23 (as rumoured) is expected to house the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, bright displays, and Android 13. It's also rumoured that the Ultra model, the highest spec of the three models in the series, will come with a 200MP camera system.

If Samsung follows the event format as the previous years, there should be other accessories and devices launching during Galaxy Unpacked 2023, ranging anything from earbuds to tablets. Last year, the Galaxy Tab S8 launched alongside the Galaxy S22 Series in the Galaxy Unpacked 2022, while the Galaxy Watch5 Series and the Galaxy Buds2 Pro were launched with the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 during the August Unpacked Event. So far, we have no information on what will be launching alongside the Galaxy S23 Series this year.

The Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023 should be available on livestream for everyone around the world to watch the new launches from the comfort of their homes. We expect Samsung to stream the event on their official website, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter, just like in previous years.
