Two months after its comeback with two affordable smartphone offerings to the Malaysian market, WIKO Malaysia introduces another sub-RM1000 member to their family in early October: the WIKO 10. Priced at only RM899, the WIKO 10 boasts a large display, decent camera specs, and a large battery on paper.
Like all other phones, though, paper specs mean nothing without a good go with the phone in real life. Thankfully, we’ve been given a review unit courtesy of WIKO Malaysia, and after a good two weeks of daily driving the phone, we’re ready to give our honest verdict.

Build & Design
Right out of the box, the WIKO 10 made a great impression with its sleek, minimalistic design. We got the Black version, which just adds to the sleekness.
It really doesn’t look its price at all, and in a good way. While the back of the phone is plastic, it’s covered with a matte finish that feels really good in hand. The weight and size are also well-balanced and not too chunky.
The camera module is set in a neat little rectangle on the top left of the phone. The bump, framed in silver, is slight but still noticeable, though there’s not much of a wobble when the phone is set on a flat surface.
On the right side of the phone, there are the volume buttons and power button integrated with the fingerprint scanner. On the right sits the SIM tray, and the 3.5mm headphone jack goes on the bottom along with the Type-C charging port.
Display
At 6.74”, the WIKO 10’s screen is on the larger side, which is great for media consumption and general social media scrolling. Gaming is a little more complicated, but just considering the display quality, the WIKO 10 has a surprisingly good IPS LCD display for its price.
Images are nice and clear, with decently vivid colours. While there are other phones out there in the same price range that offer AMOLED displays, there’s really nothing much to complain about the WIKO 10’s display.
Camera
The WIKO 10 performed surprisingly well in the camera section. The triple camera setup spearheaded by the 50MP high-resolution main camera produces nice and clear images in the daytime with little noise, even when the subject is moving.
Low-light images also came out pretty decently, though the lights tend to get a little overblown. A little tweak to the exposure levels solved that.
The 8MP front camera had a less stellar performance, producing passable images in daylit conditions and less-than-IG-worthy selfies when night falls.
Software & Performance
The WIKO 10 sports the MediaTek Helio G37 chipset under the hood, with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. At the very least, you won’t need to worry about running out of storage space for your apps and files, since the internal storage can be further expanded up to 512GB with an SD card.
Generally, the WIKO 10 can run apps without any hitches.
When it comes to gaming, though, it starts to stutter a little, especially when running the more graphically intensive games. Casual games like Solitaire Grand Harvest ran okay, but when it comes to Genshiin Impact or Call of Duty, prepare to be faced with chunky animations and minimal lags, even at the lowest settings.
That said, if you’re not a hardcore mobile gamer, the WIKO 10’s performance is more than enough for the occasional casual mobile gaming.
