Earlier this month at WWDC19, Apple unveiled their new Mac Pro, and things sure have gotten cheesier for them.
Starting from a whopping US$5,999 (that’s close to RM25,000, mind you), the Mac Pro promises configurable specifications of up to 1.5TB of RAM, Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics and a 28-Core Xeon graphics card. But, that’s the least of the internet’s concerns.
IKEA savagely roasts Apple
Since the product's announcement, social media has been flooded with memes of the Mac Pro being compared to a... cheese grater. Even IKEA didn’t miss this chance and came up with a creative but savage marketing campaign.
Throwing it all the way back to 2013
Some of you may also have forgotten that the previous Mac Pro model released in 2013 resembled that of a trash can. Six years later, despite all the negative feedback and countless memes made to poke fun at its design, the Mac Pro’s aesthetic doesn’t really get any better. As a result? More memes from the internet, and more burns for Apple.
With so much dissatisfaction over the Mac Pro’s design and it’s absurd pricing, is Apple really making the Mac Pro grate-er than it’s previous model? Or should it just be binned?
