AMOLED Screen, Swim Tracking + More From Xiaomi's Mi Band 4 & Mi A3

The best surprises are in the details.

Months after introducing the Mi 9T, Xiaomi is back at it again with their next-generation smartphone - the Mi A3. The phone is an addition to their Mi series lineup alongside the new Mi Smart Band 4.

Mi A3

The Mi A3 features some of the highest specs available for smartphone photography: 48MP AI ultra-wide triple camera and 32MP AI selfie camera. It is available in three new finishes: Kind of Grey, Not just Blue and More than White.

Housed with a large 6.088-inch AMOLED Dot Drop Display, it offers greater picture details, more vivid colours, deeper blacks and enhanced power efficiency. For a more secure and user-friendly experience, an in-screen fingerprint sensor is built with an improved optical sensing technology that enables fast unlock and reducing unlock errors.

Moreover, it is also said to be the world’s first device that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 11nm high-performance processor chip. Alongside a 4030mAh (typ) high-capacity battery, the phone is able to last for almost 2 days of usage and supports 18W fast-charging capability via USB Type-C.

For those who are eager to get their hands on the  Mi A3, it will be available starting 3rd of August 2019 at the price starting at RM 899 for 4GB + 64GB and RM 999 for 4GB + 128GB at all authorised Mi Stores, Lazada and Shopee.

Mi Smart Band 4

The new Mi Smart Band 4 includes new features to boost users’ experience. Housed with a full-colour AMOLED display, reading notifications under direct sunlight has never been easier. Alongside a durable 2.5D tempered glass built-in, the Mi Smart Band 4 offers a much smoother and responsive touchscreen experience.

Designed to keep up with our day-to-day activities, it is built with a 135mAh battery that provides up to 20 days of use with just a single charge. Apart from that, rated at 5 ATM, the Mi Smart Band 4 is capable of handling water resistance of up to 50m.

With the dedicated Mi Fit App, workouts can be tracked accurately by monitoring footsteps, calories burned, distance travelled, heart rate and sleep.

Besides, the Mi Smart Band 4 also supports different sports modes such as running, walking, cycling, as well as the newly added swim tracking mode to monitor time, length, swim strokes, SWOLF (a measure of swimming efficiency) and more.

The Mi Smart Band 4 will be available starting 31st of July 2019 at the price of RM 149 at all authorised Mi Stores, Lazada and Shopee.
